Ok sire, your gonna wanna brace yourself because science fiction is about to become science FACT. Ok the short of it, this organic biomass is human. Yes I ran the samples I collected before I ran them against DNA samples of every animal on this planet and got nothing. So them I run it against some homo Saipan DNA and get this, PERFECT MATCH!
I mean this stuff is made up of human tissue so whatever you are standing in somehow came from us. Now I checked some of the other cocoon like sacs and get this, these are humans but they have somehow changed. Whatever this place is it is causing the humans to slowly metamorphisize into something else.
Now some of them have progressed further then the others but the one thing this stuff has in common is that this type of tissue in only found in the human womb. I can assure you that if you pull that hand out, what follows it will be totally different from what you and I look like. So I am coming back down there to investigate this further.
But don't go any further into that hive until I get there. You are going to need to put that sword of yours to good use because there are some massive biosigns further ahead and they appear to have been alerted to your presence there. I see them converging on your location.
